This studio project was an open-ended question about the Contemporary Art Museum’s new identity. The brief asked us to explore ideas about education or art programming for the museum using any method or medium.

After collaborating with my studio mates on visual identity and its applications, I decided to take defining an identity outside of studio. I took a digital video camera into the Raleigh community to find out what it needed in terms of art and education. I also wanted to find more information about what people in the area valued, and what they knew about the old CAM.

This video documents portions of the interviews and serves as a cultural pulse for the museum’s directors (clickon video to open).
